Dr. Grant Goods grew up in Toronto and graduated from the University of Waterloo in 1980. Upon graduation, he moved to B.C. with his wife and founded Summerland Optometry. While the practice was growing, he worked part-time in Kelowna until in 1994 when the office could support him on a full time basis. He moved into his practice on North Victoria Road in 1985, and expanded the office in 2002.
Dr. Grant Goods is married with three children, one of them being Dr. Kimberley Goods. Grant was a volunteer head soccer coach for eleven years with COYSA, coaching his son’s soccer teams. He enjoys outdoor recreation including: camping, fishing, boating, playing hockey and snowboarding.
Dr. Kimberley Goods joined Summerland Optometry in 2011. She is very excited to be working at the family business along side her father, Dr. Grant Goods. She graduated from the University of Waterloo in 2011, and attended the University of Victoria prior to that.
She was raised in Kelowna and is very happy to be back in the Okanagan. When she is not in the office, Kimberley enjoys spending time with her husband and young daughter, snowboarding, hiking, and playing volleyball.
She offers an energetic, new perspective to the office and is up to date with the newest technologies and treatments. She is accepting patients of all ages and looks forward meeting you.
